CBSE Board 10 12 Examination 2020 Live Updates: Board to give 10-days notice before holding 10th and 12th pending exams, confirm Officials

CBSE Board 10 12 Examination 2020: As per board officials from CBSE it have said that remaining class 10 and 12 examinations will be conducted by the board only for the important subjects. The dates for the examinations will be announced 10 days in advance.

CBSE Evaluation Details

The officials from the Central Board of Secondary Education have stated that the exam paper evaluation for the CBSE Class 10 and 12 students will take at least one or one and a half months to be completed. Reports suggest that only 30 percent of the evaluation has been completed until now.




Officials from the board have also said that close to 2 Crore papers from 36 lakh class 10 and 12 students are to be evaluated with the help of about two lakh teachers. Officials of the board have confirmed that a plan to conduct the evaluation process is in place.

CBSE Board 10 12 Examination 2020 Dates

  • Reports suggest that the Board will need at least 10 days to conduct the class 2 board examinations in case the government lifts the lockdown on May 3, 2020.
  • The board had earlier suggested conducting the remaining class 10 and 12 examinations only for the students from Northeast Delhi whose examinations are postponed due to the riots which occurred in the region earlier this year.
  • In a meeting conducted by the HRD Minister, Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia had asked for promoting the CBSE class 10 and 12 students without conducting the pending examinations but instead considering their internal marks. The minister also points out in the meeting that it is not possible to conduct the remaining examinations for the CBSE class 10 and 12 students.
  • The CBSE had postponed the class 10 and 12 board examination in wake of the increasing cases of COVID-19 cases in the country. With the government announcing the 21-day lockdown from March 24, 2020, the board was expecting to conduct the remaining examinations after the lockdown is lifted. However, with the lockdown being extended, the board officials have stated that only the important papers for the Class 10 and 2 students will be conducted due to the lack of time as the evaluation and result declaration is left to be done.
