Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Doddaballapur was established in the year 1986. It is located on the State Highway from Bangalore-Hindupur Road between Doddaballapur and Bashettihalli village. This Vidyalaya is a precious jewel on the silk bowl of the country. It has come a long way from its humble beginning to its present glory. The first batch of 66 students joined on 15-12-1986 and the Vidyalaya started functioning in the temporary building provided by the State Government.
